Some new features in Office 2016 included the ability to create, open, edit, and save files to the cloud right from your desktop, a new search tool called Tell Me that uses new smart commands common to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are available, and the ability to type in real time alongside other users connected to Office Online. In May 2015, the preview for Windows was announced at the Ignite conference in Chicago, and is available as a beta test only to registered Office 365 users. It was officially released on September 22, 2015. Microsoft Office 2016 (codenamed Office 16) is a version of Microsoft Office personal productivity software and the Successor to Office 2013.
